Samples of the vintage korg mini pops 45 drum machine. No processing applied here but a very gentle fft based noise reduction. After all, i figured background noise was part of the machine's sonic identity. No patterns here, since that would have taken forever, just the individual sounds. Some of them alone, some of them combined. Recorded mono with a zoom h2n thru the machine's "amp" output.

This is a recording of myself banging a garden chair, an old table and a ladder together to create an earthquake element. It is completely raw, so no processing has been done, no eq, nothing. I recorded this in my living room with my trusty sennheiser mkh 416, straight into an mbox mini and into pro tools.

Moog grandmother, plucky sequence in am, 90bpm. You could make loops out of it, as the whole sequence was digitally clocked. Some interesting play with noise, filter, pulse width and the internal spring reverb of the synthesizer. Recorded through an ssl superanalogue preamplifier at line level, uad-2 apollo 8 adc. No eq, no compression. Mono file, 24 bit 48 khz.

An ambient, white noise wall of sound recorded as i walked through our well ventilated university print shop. You can hear a variety of machine noises that layer to create a constant hum, with a swelling rise and fall like occasional waves. Some of the vents whistle, some tick or click and purr. Near the very end, there is a single sharp click. The ventilation system is an anti-fume tube series used for printmaking. Recorded on a microtrack ii. General information: recorded indoors on handheld microtrack while walking from room to room. No noticeable footstep sounds. No voices. Room has high ceilings and cement floors.

Recorded at the corner of younge street and king street in toronto, ontario on a zoom. People walk by, streetcar passes by, and no doubt cars! it's windy so one may put a high pass filter on it.

Cowbell recorded both being shaken, as well as being struck with a pencil. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in adobe audition cs6. Used audition's noise removal tools to minimize audible background noise. While no others effects have been added, i would recommend using a hard limiter of around 10-20db for a fuller sounding bell. Attribution appreciated but not required.

So when i launched audacity within gentoo linux, a strange ground loop occurred. However, adjusting the volume settings within alsamixer caused the ground loop to become different per volume settings. The higher the volume, the less noise is produced; the lower the volume, the more noise is produced. I hereby proclaim this into the public domain, no restrictions! have fun, y'all!.

A series of 5 short, natural poots, aka. Farts, separated by about a half-second of silence. All natural and relatively good quality, ie. Low noise, no echo, etc. Recorded by the producer on different occasions and post-processed using audacity (equalization, amplification, noise-reduction) to achieve more consistent levels and fidelity. Recorded on a moto g5 plus (smartphone) using easy voice recorder (android). Cute > nasty?.

Tiny waves lapping the quartzite pebbles (1-2cm diameter) on a beach at lake pedder. Recorded 21 march 2019, 3am, with the internal mics on a marantz pmd661. For noise reduction, capture a noise print around 0. 09. Exceptionally quiet night, no wind, no other sounds. The gordon river power station was 20 kms distant. Other mechanical equipment or vehicles greater then 50 kms. I could just perceive the electrical hum from the station (or from transmission lines), and so could my partner, but i can’t hear it on the recording. See also "tiny waves lapping #1".

I would upgrade my cabin if this was the noise i had to live with. Through film we - know - the space ship background noise. A freighter or a battleship - more noise. Enemy ship even more and strange. . . My noise is from a budget cabin. This is just a background noise. Listen at low volume. This is my submission fordisquiet junto project 0383: interstellar ambiencethe assignment: record the sound of an apartment on a large interstellar ship. *** please rate this sound if you download and like :-) ***. This is a common dance sweep generated only with a white noise filtered with ableton's "auto-filter". It lasts exactly 16 bars at 120 bpm. This fx has no effects inside, you can get excelent sounds by adding on it flangers, phasers, choruses, delays, reverbs, sidechain from kick and so on. . .
